There are 16 beaches in Nerja out of which four beaches have got recognition as blue flag beaches.
Blue flag Beaches
Torrecilla beach – This beach is equipped with a walkway over the rocks and you can either jog or cycle on it. The palm grove here is very extensive and there is a large massif that facilitates fishing. This beach has black volcanic sand and moderate waves. The beach length is 225 M and width 7 M.

Overview
The municipal village Vilaflor is located on Tenerife Island which is one of the Canary Islands and is a part of the province – Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
